S’gula Enterprise was established in 2024 out of a lifelong passion for interior décor and creative design. Founded by Ekua Tekyiwa Bonnie, affectionately known as Tee, S’gula was born from her desire to transform everyday spaces into places of comfort, beauty, and inspiration.
With over a decade of experience as a nursery owner and business manager, Tee has always had an eye for design and detail. During her 11 years running a nursery, she poured her creativity into every element from designing vibrant, welcoming classrooms for children to curating inviting and stylish spaces for parents. Beyond work, she enjoyed transforming her family home each year, constantly experimenting with new looks, colour palettes, and textures to reflect her evolving style and love for indoor and outdoor spaces.
Tee’s creative journey is also deeply rooted in her heritage. Inspired by Africa’s rich diversity and natural beauty, she believes there is immense potential to draw from the continent’s materials, artistry, and craftsmanship to enhance our surroundings. This belief extends to S’gula’s fashion design department, which celebrates three generations of craftsmanship — inspired by the design and cloth-making traditions of Tee’s mother and grandmother.
